LJ Hooker International Conference, Phuket, Thailand

What a fantastic special event. The team from LJ Hooker assisted by Australian Business & Conference Travel put on an excellent overseas conference that was not only a lot of fun for all who attended but was also rich in inspiration and ideas from a top line up of presenters and speakers.

the competition was fierce



the banquet was finished with a fashion parade where participants had to design, create and wear their own garments

made of newspaper!


next day the young guns shared their considerable expertise

followed by a high impact presentation by technology guru Mark Walsh

that night most of Phukets Tuk Tuks were hired to move the delegation down to the luxurious Sula Bua restaurant at Patong



after a sumptuous meal guests danced the night away to the amazing voice of this local singer


and the night was capped off by the lighting of lanterns which once warmed drifted high into the night sky
next day at the wires breakfast . . .
Peter Baines (right) made an emotional presentation highlighting the situation faced by the local people following the 2004 tsunami which left many children without parents. Peter has set up Hands Accross The Water to help raise funds for this important project

This particular conference had an excellent programme but more importantly the delegates and staff from LJ Hooker made my job of covering the event a memorable and rewarding experience.
